Where did the last two weeks go? Seriously that just baffles me. I feel like I took those apartment pictures yesterday. Maybe that's because I haven't touched my camera since? Cue blurry iPhone pics...

To be totally honest, Brady and I have been really into turning our days into "relaxation days". hahaha Like, if it's Saturday, and we are thinking about going somewhere, the day will suddenly turn into Relaxation Saturday and we will just lay in bed and snuggle with Zo and watch Seinfeld. You might be thinking, "Wow, they are lazy". You're kinda right, it's true. But, you should also know we are totally okay with it. You just have to take in all the down time you have when it's about to be ripped out from under you, ya know?!

Ok fine, we do get out of the house sometimes. Over the last couple weeks I have been making a mental list of some of my favorite, and not so favorite things in the city.

Walking every where, Trader Joe's on the Corner- I somehow make it to that zoo about once a day, Dog Park down the street (Zoe's fav too, but that goes without saying), attending church in the temple/ going to the temple,  Levain Bakery - but honestly, I made cookies yesterday and I think mine might be right up there. JUST SAYIN. Wash and Fold laundry, Costco Delivery, Seinfeld, doing a couple sets of eyelash extensions, going to my first calligraphy class ever, my neighbors, learning to cook in our fun little kitchen, having so much time with my bestie hubs, and TOTALLY GOT INVITED TO ELLEN'S NYC PREMIERE SHOW- literally so dang excited about that. & Amy and Jackson are coming down for that since they gave us 4 tickets!

Ellen was looking for NYC Student to attend her shoe. Here is the letter Brady send in, if you're interested. (he also included the picture of the three of us on our bed)

My name is Richard Perdue, but I go by Brady because my parents didn’t want to raise a Dick. My wife and I just moved to Manhattan from Provo, UT so I could attend NYU College of Dentistry. We have a four month old daughter; her name is Zoe and she happens to be the cutest puppy in the world. We told our family and friends that we were moving to New York so I could attend dental school, but we actually moved here so Zoe’s modeling career could take off. Things are going well so far. Everywhere we go people stop my wife and me so they can meet Zoe. Last week Melora Hardin, who played Jan from The Office, stopped us just so she could meet Zoe. So Ellen we know what it’s like to be stopped by fans anytime we go outside.

Ellen, my wife is seriously your biggest fan. I would bet that over half the views you have on EllenTube are from her. She has shown me a lot of your videos, and I am a huge fan too! We have been married for almost a year now. We were married on 8.28.14, and surprising my wife with tickets to your show would be the best anniversary present I could give her. Ellen the real reason we love your show is because of all the amazing things you do to help those in need. The reason I want to become a dentist is to do what you do, help out those who are less fortunate than you and me. Thank you for all you do to make this world a better a place, you inspire my wife and I to be more loving and more kind. We hope to be able to see your show in person while you’re here in New York!

Best, R Brady Perdue

The super awesome smell of garbage you catch a whiff of every so often, Brady losing his wallet, Hagen-steal all yo money-Daz Ice Cream Shop (still mad that we paid 12 bucks for two scoops of ice cream), Subways that have no AC, when Zoe has an accident in the apartment...., I haven't really made any friends yet, the fact that I only know how to cook like three meals- sorry babe, and Brady officially starting school on Tuesday. Man, that's going to be rough but obviously we are so excited all at the same time!

Can you find Zoe...? haha This pic kills me.

Literally everything about this home I am so in love with. Except maybe just double it and stick it in a suburb with a large backyard for the kiddos and Zoe. (unless I can convince Brady to stay in the city forever...) Red Brick- Check! White Windows- Check! Black shutters- Check! 3 stories- Check! Ivy- Check! Yup, it's perfect. I'll take it.

Cheers to the the best couple weeks of relaxation!

Now, school and work... here we come!
