Well, as you may have noticed, it's been a little while since I have posted. Time really has just slipped away from me, and I simply didn't make time for blogging. That, and our life has been in this crazy limbo for the last few weeks. (seriously, crazy.) I am SO SO happy to say we are finally living in our apartment in New York City and are starting to get settled in. Here are some pics I have captured on my phone since being here.

This was our first night here! Just after we brought all of our stuff upstairs :)

The last few months Brady and I had been living in his parents basement apartment so we could save up for this crazy city life. And I am so glad we did! Seriously I don't think anyone could prepare me for how expensive this place is. Water bottles under two dollars simply don't exist and a small tub of greek yogurt is seven bucks. (and that was the cheapest one... I KNOW.)

We got here on Sunday, moved all of our stuff in that night, slept in a nightmare for a few days... and now it's starting to look livable! (I will post pictures of our place as soon as it is finished!) We seriously lucked out in the apartment department. We live on 72nd Street, which is awesome. There is everything we could possibly need right at our fingertips.

I'm not exaggerating when I say it takes me like 2.5 minutes to walk to Trader Joe's from my door. And we got an apartment with an elevator... which is THE BEST. I mean, I love a good exercise, but 10 flights up, multiple times a day with groceries and a dog... yeah, no thanks. There is a dog park just 1.5 blocks east, and Central Park is 2 avenues West. I feel very fortunate to live where we do and to have the opportunity for this adventure. The last few days have been so fun and I am so excited for the next 4 years.

This is the view from our apartment at night. I seriously love it.
And this is from our walk in Central Park the other night :)

Prepare yourself with New York overload... we are a little excited!!
