Technically, this was the last day of November, but were counting it anyway! I went with my friends to The Nutcracker but the New York City ballet. It was unreal and exceeded all expectations. It was my first time, and I was in heaven. As a former dancer, it was giving me all the feels and made me want to dance again!
Decorating our little apartment for Christmas was so much fun! This is the second year we have gotten a tree for a couple weeks and thrown it out before we leave for the actual holiday. It is a bit of a waste, but I can't help it!! It's so magical, and falling asleep next to a lot tree is the best thing ever.
This picture makes me laugh so hard every single time I look at it!! Brady kills me. I was decorating the tree and taking lots of pictures of zoe, and when I turned around, brady had covered himself in lights. He was giving me the most serious model face and I will never forget it. I laughed so hard! He was trying so hard to keep a straight face, but couldn't, and it made me laugh even harder.
I made these fun little ornaments for my friends this year. They were so fun to make and I love how they turned out!
Our stockings are my favorite. Anthro for the win, always.
Zoe's 2016 headshot. And lots of Christmas light photos to follow. This is only two, but you better believe I took like 20.
My sweet friend Amanda had a birthday!! Her kiddos were sick on her actual birthday, so we postponed her party until a little later in the month. I'm so happy we were able to celebrate her! Amanda has the most fun, carefree personality and she always makes everyone around her feel so at ease.
We went caroling at Columbus Circle, which was SO fun. I loved seeing all the reactions from people walking by. We had such a good time. After we walked over to Serendipity for dinner and dessert! The whole night was such a good time. Amanda, I hope you know how loved you are!! ❤️
This meal MUST be documented. I'm completely obsessed and can not wait to go back. Burke and Willis for the win. I came here with girlfriends for a favorite things brunch and I think this meal might actually be my new favorite thing.
My friend Meg brought this as her favorite thing and I got to take it home! To say I was excited is a serious understatement. Isn't it amazing? I'm in love and it's perfect!! Also, her husband designed it. Even more amazing.
Nothing is sweeter to me than my little Zo fast asleep.
This is what I designed for our Christmas card that I never sent out. But if I post it here it's basically the same thing, right?
I wrote this quote for a good friend of mine and I'm in love with how it turned out. I hope I get to do a hundred more of these!
Zoe on our way to the airport. All three of us killing it in our Christmas sweaters. She loves to look out the window!
December was so crazy, hectic, and so much fun. It always seems so go to quickly, but I loved every minute of it. Here's to a new year!
