abc home, movies, and a lot of walking

Brady and I woke up yesterday morning and decided to take the day off, and hang out all day. We had stayed up the night before until 3am (I know!!!) talking, and talking, and although we are definitely not night owls, I am so glad we did. It's those conversations, that you just can't stop, that are my very favorite. We slept in until 10:30 (another very unusual thing for both of us) and decided to head to a movie! We saw The Big Sick, which was absolutely hilarious, and one of the best movies I have seen this year. We both loved it so much. I was laugh-out-loud kind of funny. I can't wait to see it again.

So, there are two movie theatre's here, that have the recliner chairs. After experiencing recliner movies, I just can't do it any other way. So, while there are tons of movie theatre's all around the city, there are only two that will be taking my money. Unfortunately, the one by us, hardly shows the movies we want to see, so we end up traveling across town. Good thing for matinees, because we have lots if time to explore afterward!

On our way to the movie, we walked to the candy store for some treats (of course), and when I looked over and saw the temple, perfectly framed in the trees, I had to pull my camera out. I am so glad I did. This one, it's getting framed.

So after the movie, we decided to just walk, and see where we end up. We stumbled upon ABC Home, which I had heard about, but never been inside. Brady was the best and completely obliged, and we had so much fun wandering all SIX floors. Everything was out of a dream. I was truly in heaven, wandering around, pretending like we were decorating our dream home. A literal dream home, one that could never exist, because this furniture is out of this world expensive. We're talking, 38,000 dollar rugs, kind of expensive.

I'm such a sucker for stationary.

He was having too much fun. And he's too cute. I love him.

What is it about soft, adorable, little stuffed animals? I'm certain my future children will have a massive collection, because I just love them, and I won't be able to help myself.

The little girl dress ups and dresses! I wanted to take pictures of them all, but people were staring.

If this dress wasn't $995 dollars, I probably would have bought it. So delecate and beautiful, and just a tad overpriced.

All the details.

K, I'm seriously wanting to attempt making a mobile? I'm obsessed with them! They are so darling, and I want to try. I need to learn to knit first. I've got a ways to go.

This one, cute, but maybe $50-60 dollars cute? Nope, $990. BUT, on sale for $600, so you better run. I doubt it will last at that great price.

The rug floor made my heart skip a beat. I love rugs, and in my dream world, I have a house with antique wood floors throughout, and beautiful handmade rugs in every room. Yes, please.

There was a Kate Spade section, and it was so bright and fun!

Made him pose for me because I'm also obsessed with that wall, and I need one!!

After ABC Home, we made a few pit stops here and there, but mostly just walked, and walked, and walked... all the way home. Nothing better then hours spent walking and talking. We lucked out with amazing weather yesterday (&today!!) that made it all the better. I think we clocked upward of 6 miles yesterday.

Snapped this crossing over 5th Ave (maybe 6th...) and I love it so much. After we got home, I noticed the N | Y on the street, and now I think it's even more special.

It was a beautiful day, and I'm so grateful for the extra time with my guy. I needed it. Love you sweets.
