celebrating baby gochnour

On Saturday morning I got to shower one of my dearest friends, Abby! I met Abby about 1.5 years ago when she and her cute hubs moved from Salt Lake to the New York. I remember finding her in my explore feed, and seeing that she was moving here... so I slid into her dms and basically forced her to be my friend. I'd say it worked out nicely. She is the greatest, and one of my favorite people ever! I don't know what I'd do if she hadn't moved here.

Basically since the day she told me she wa pregnant, I've been dreaming up her shower. She and I are so similar and both have a major love for beautiful things, so I knew exactly what I wanted to create! Since they decided to keep the gender a suprise, I decided I just wanted the shower to reflect her. Basically if it reminded me of her, I did just that. Down to the plates and the napkins... I know.

I went with the balloon arch because 1. I love them. They are stunning! 2. They are a major statement and you don't need much else 3. They are really inexpensive to make and SO easy! I had so much fun making it and would highly recommend them for any and all parties. It's definitely not my last one.

I'm so happy I was able to do this for her. (With a ton of help from my friend Lynda, and a few other girls who I'm so grateful for!!) While I was a zombie after, and maybe went home and took a 4 hour nap, it was so fun and I'd do it all over again. Love you Abigail! I am beyond excited for you and Ralph! You will be the best parents ❤️
