a Macy's thanksgiving

Another late post, but I'd rather it be late than not at all!

This Thanksgiving was easily one of the most memorable. I have watched the Macy's Day Parade on Thanksgiving morning as long as I can remember, and getting to attend (and front row!!) was an actual dream come true!! We will definitely be back next year, and I can't wait. (I guess technically we will be back this year... weird ha)

I begged Brady to let me bring Zo, but he said no. Haha next year though, she's comin!!

We woke up at 4:30 to get ready to head out. Brady is a trooper and went to stake our spots a couple hours before I came out. I stayed back and took zoe on a walk, packed some food and hot chocolate, and cleaned up all my thanksgiving prep from the night before. Luckily, we live just minutes from the park, so I could run over and meet him easily. two full blocks were full of all our friends from our ward, and it was so fun!

Those iconic Macy's balloons!!

The calm before the storm...

My first ever pie! I made pecan (obviously) and it was SO GOOD. And now I want pecan pie.

My man, Jimmy. (This is not our first encounter. We first met eyes, and fingers... at the Ellen Show two years ago, here in NYC 😍)

Wouldn't be the Macy's parade without Santa to close the wonderful show!!

And because it was so delicious and made me feel right at home, my 2017 thansksgiving plate. 😋
